New UAZ Patriot in Russian Federation sell at the price of Toyota Land Cruiser Prado in Ukraine

UAZ Patriot production with automatic gearboxes is impossible. The SUV became a shortage and the prices for it flew. Prices for new cars in Russia are not tired of shocking. At such a price, several car dealers offer to buy a Patriot UAZ with an automatic gearbox.

It is noteworthy that the recommended factory cost of the SUV is one and a half times lower - 1. 9 million rubles or $ 31,000. And at the beginning of 2022 it cost about $ 25,000, that is, the model doubled. In Ukraine or EU countries, you can buy new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado or Mitsubishi Pajero Sport for $ 49,000. Japanese SUV frames are more powerful, economical and richer equipped than UAZ Patriot. Such a high cost is dictated by a shortage of machines.

Although the UAZ works now, it only produces models with a mechanical gearbox and they cost less (about $ 35,000). The UAZ Patriot machine is imported (French Punch Powerglide) and stopped supplying it in sanctions. In addition, the automatic gearboxes were mainly equipped with top versions of the UAZ "Patriot".
