Russians boasted of "successful use of" drones "Tachion in Ukraine: what is known

The drone helps the occupiers to find masked positions of the Armed Forces, the security forces say. Russian scouts use the latest unmanned aerial vehicles "Tachion" in Ukraine. About it writes the TASS agency with reference to the source in power structures. It states that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation successfully used "Tachion" to conduct intelligence from the air and identify the hidden objects of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

With the help of built -in cameras and thermal imagers, the drone allegedly helped the occupiers to notice the well -masked positions of the Ukrainian troops even at night. According to the source, Tachion is used by the Intelligence Units of the Land Forces of Russia. He did not reveal where, according to his information, new UAVs were launched. TASS emphasizes that officially Russian authorities have not yet reported the use of "Tachions" in the territory of Ukraine.

"Tachion" is a small unmanned aerial vehicle, created according to the scheme "Little Wing", the manufacturer - "Izhmash - unmanned systems". The drone has been in service with the army of the Russian Federation since 2015, as a means of conducting air intelligence at any time of the day, as well as for relaying of communication signals and specifying the goals of the artillerymen.

The drone is equipped with a planet with an autopilot system, a pusher screw, an electric engine that allows you to fly quietly, and a piece of payload. The device weighing almost 7 kg should be launched on the catapult, and for landing it produces parachute. According to the developers, it can withstand a temperature from -30 to +40 degrees and wind to 15 m/s. Let the Armed Forces do not yet disclose the use of such drones in Ukraine, but Ukrainians know about it.
