After the liberation of Kherson, according to analysts, the war gradually crossed into positional fighting, which is why the Russians again took the initiative at the front. The full -scale war in Ukraine, which lasts more than 11 months, consists of three key stages. This was announced in his report of January 29 by the American Institute for the Study of the ISW war.

In particular, analysts decided to divide a full -scale war, which lasts for almost a year, into three key stages, highlighting the initiative of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the counter -offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and positional fighting. According to ISW, the Russians had an advantage on the front from February 24 to June, when their attacks and strokes at the Armed Forces positions reached the culmination.

Later, Ukraine's defense forces managed to take the initiative on the front line and to carry out several successful counter -offensives, liberating the territories of Kharkiv, Donetsk and Kherson regions, taking into account Kherson. After November 11, according to analysts, the war gradually crossed into positional fighting. The Armed Forces could not carry out a new large -scale counter -attack, allowing the Russians to take the initiative at the front again.

Instead, the Institute of War Study warns that the current situation on the forefront has increased the requirements for the next counter -offensive actions of Ukraine, which official Kyiv can prepare. "The nature of Western aid delivery has largely determined the development of this conflict," analysts added, sharing a full -scale war in Ukraine into three key stages.

It should be noted that in its summary of January 28, the Institute for the Study of War ISW predicted a new offensive of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. According to American analysts, Russia is now engaged in the formation of additional forces to carry out offensive operations, which can afford to enter the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
