China doesn't want to help: DJI and UNITREE condemned the Russian Federation for the use of their drones and robots
The military praised commercial quadcopters of Chinese production and told how the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation was used in the war, in particular, for the guidance of missiles and artillery, targets, fire adjustments, intelligence. Thanks to these drones, troops significantly increase the accuracy and reduce the cost of ammunition.
"The unmanned Mavic quadcopter, created by the DJI Chinese company, in principle became a symbol of the modern war," the General's words on the embassy page quoted. Soon, DJI responded to publication by condemning the use of its UAVs in hostilities: "Most products are intended for civilian purposes. DJI products do not fit or meet the needs of military use, we do not support their military use," the press service wrote in a comment.
Soon the Russians removed their post from Weibo, but one of the users took a screenshot and placed it on Twitter. This is not the first time that DJI condemned the use of its drones in the war. In April, the company stopped the supply of UAV to Russia and Ukraine to prevent their military use. The manufacturer stressed that it is strongly opposed to the installation of weapons on quadcopters. It is worth noting that DJI is under US sanctions, despite trying to improve the reputation.
Recently in Russia, a combat robot was presented with a grenade launcher M-26, attached to the back, at the forum "Army-2022". The Russian Company "Intellect Machines" claims that it produces robotic complexes called M-81, using Chinese technologies, however, despite the black cover, analysts recognized the GO1 car of UnitREE Robotic. In July, UNITREE wrote on Twitter, condemning any action that can harm people, and only produces civilian products.
