Sanctions are pressed: the Russian Federation asks for sanctions in exchange for the "grain agreement" - the media
If the requirements of Russia are satisfied, then Rossilghopbank, which has not yet played a significant role in international grain trade, will be able to make payments for Russian grain and other foods. Currently, international banks and subsidiaries of other Russian banks in Switzerland are engaged in such payments.
According to the Russian side, the sanction imposed after the full -scale invasion of Moscow into Ukraine has blocked Russian merchants with grain and fertilizers processing of payments and access to courts, insurance companies and ports. The Reuters Source in the UN under the anonymity reported that the simplification of payments for Russian food and fertilizers through Rossilghopbank is now being discussed with the EU and other parties.
It should be noted that the Russian "Rosselgobank" has been disconnected by the European Union from the international SWIFT bank payment system since June 14. The sixth package of sanctions, which stated this procedure, was agreed by the ambassadors of the EU countries at the end of May, and the official release with new restrictions was released on June 3. We will remind, on October 29 Russia announced withdrawal from the "grain agreement".
The attack was an attack on the naval base of the Russians in the occupied Sevastopol. The Russians have warned that they could not guarantee the safety of ships that would be humanitarian. On October 30, it became clear that the threats of the Russian Federation decided to ignore: UN, Turkey and Ukraine agreed on October 31 a plan of passing a corridor for 16 vessels in Turkish waters. Russia was only reported, and Turkey actually spoke.
