"Let's return the garbage to terrorists": near the Russian Embassy in Berlin put a tank of T-72 undermined near Kiev
As it is specified, the armored car arrived from Ukraine to the capital of Germany at about the first morning. The tank will be on the Unter-Dan-Linden boulevard throughout the weekend-directly opposite the Russian Embassy. "We will return the garbage under the door of terrorists," - said the author of the initiative Viland Gibel. According to him, the tank should become a symbol of German protest against Russia's military aggression, as well as demonstrate Germany's solidarity with Ukraine.
The 44-ton armored car exploded on a mini on March 31 last year in the Kiev region during a large-scale offensive. The technique also shows traces of balls. Viland Gibel and his associate, Enno Lenz, worked on this project for several months. They had to defend their idea in front of the city authorities, which feared that such an exposition could injure refugees from Syria or distract cyclists while driving. In the end, the city was given a "good" to install a Russian tank.
The whole action cost 100 thousand euros, money was donated by people who sympathize with Ukraine. Earlier, Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov said that on February 24, Russian tanks will be exhibited in Germany, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. The official stressed that in this way, the residents of the EU countries will be convinced that Russian tanks can get into Europe through Ukraine "only in the form of museum exhibits". On February 20, a traditional carnival Rosenmontag was held in Germany.
