Wanted Independence "L/DNR": in Ukraine 20 deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation received 15 years in prison
The signing of the decree by President of Russia Vladimir Putin on the recognition of independence "LNR" and "DNR" on February 21 last year was a formal reason to start a full -scale invasion of Ukraine. The court, based on the evidence collected, found guilty under Part 3 of Art.
110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine) of the following Russian politicians: since the convicts are in Russia, the deadline for serving the sentence was determined from the date of their actual detention. The SBU speaks of unconditional evidence of the wine of deputies who contributed to the capture of part of the eastern regions of Ukraine.
On February 15, 2022, they supported the resolution to appeal to the President of Russia to recognize the "independence" of temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Prosecutors of the Chernivtsi Regional Prosecutor's Office were charged.
They are currently supporting the accusations against another 44 deputies from Russia, added the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine. It should be reminded that on December 23 last year in Ukraine they were sentenced to 15 years in prison of the deputy of the Lower House of Federal Assembly of Russia Denis Maidanov. He supported on February 15, 2022 a resolution to appeal to Putin to recognize "Independence" "L/DNR".
