"Nobody will take Bakhmut," he said. The head of state noted that Ukraine would fight for him as much as he can. "We consider Bakhmut our fortress," Zelensky said. At the same time, the President claims that if Ukraine is now receiving a farm weapon, the Ukrainian troops will not only leave the city, but also go on a counter -offensive, freeing the territory of the East of the country captured by the enemy.

"If weapons are accelerated, namely a long -range weapon, we will not only depart from Bakhmut, we will start dealing with Donbas, occupied since 2014," the Ukrainian leader commented. According to him, Kyiv knows what is needed for this. "We have specifics that we need [for that]," the President explained. Zelensky also thanked the partners "who are along with us.

" Zelensky also noted that it is worth preparing to increase tension in the east of the country in the near future, as Russia seeks revenge. "He wants to be revenge exactly where it did not work. He wants - in the East [Ukraine], he wants to pick up the East," the President says. According to him, the task of Ukraine today is not to give Moscow such an opportunity.
