Global Unity for Peace: How to Complete War in Ukraine and Remove Political Crisis
People who influence peoples and industries around the world. You are all united by one fact - you are really influential. But there is also something that separates you - not all of you use this influence. Or sometimes you use it so that it separates even more. A forum such as the Davos Economic Forum exists because we all deeply believe that there is no such global problem of humanity that we would not be able to solve. We have enough energy and strength.
The weight of our common influence is greater than the weight of the challenges that exist. But in order for the amount, all the components must be added, and this is global cooperation. And it is more important to understand this right now when Russia's aggression in Europe is putting the various challenges facing the world in the form of one full -scale crisis. Currently, humanity is faced with the threat of the collapse of the world we know it, which we are used to. Or for which we want.
What will be the life in the world that will be allowed to strike from tanks on nuclear power plants. What will happen to inflation when the state borders are destroyed, and the integrity of the countries will be destroyed only at someone's desire.
What will happen with the cost of life when not millions, and tens of millions of people will have to run away from mass famine and become refugees? How does the world want to achieve climate neutrality if he has not stopped burning entire cities in Ukraine in the Russian army? This is what Russia does with its artillery, rockets, Iranian drones. You all know well that Russian aggression will not be limited to Ukrainian borders.
This war can go further, making crisis global if the Russian aggressor does not lose. In other words, if the weight of our common influence does not outweigh aggression. My husband, the President of Ukraine, in an appeal to the G19 countries, suggested the formula of how we can become the most powerful in peacekeeping. This is a plan of 10 points.
10 points on how to outweigh Russian aggression, and therefore how to prevent the combination of regional and global crises that exist in one full -scale global crisis. These points are not purely political, each has a significant human dimension. It is a dimension of parents who cry under the resuscitation wards where doctors fight for the life of their wounded child. Or a boy whose family was shot in the car by the invaders during evacuation.
It is a measurement of farmers who are afraid to return to their fields, which were replaced by Russian invaders. It is a measurement of people who have lost their homes and are forced to look for shelter where they can accept them. I ask you to look at the need to stop this invasion in this way - through the eyes of people whose life was transformed into chaos by the aggressive actions of Russia.
When we talk about radiation and nuclear security in the peace formula, we mean that a new Chernobyl cannot be allowed. We do not want children to be forced to learn how to prevent radiation sickness. When we talk about food safety, we mean that everyone is entitled to food. Humiliating and against the very nature of man, which in the 21st century is possible a mass hunger. Moreover, because of the aggression of some crazy country.
When we talk about energy safety, we mean that no child in the world has to do homework in candles, as children now have to do in Ukraine. Or that no doctor should be surgery in light lanterns, as it was recently in Lviv and Kiev. For me, the most painful point of the peace formula is the release of all prisoners of war and deported. Thousands of Ukrainians who have been taken to Russia and who are lying that no one is going to help them. They are not the only ones who are experiencing torture.
Their families also experience uncertainty torture. This is about thousands of children who we need to protect against the destruction of their relatives and homeland, which Russia is committed by giving thousands of Ukrainian children to illegal adoption by Russian families. And it is not just Russia's attempt to erase children about who they are. It is a crime against the essence of paternity, against the original relationship between mother and child, father and child.
Everyone has the right to life. Therefore, a separate point in the formula of peace is the withdrawal of Russian troops from the entire sovereign territory of Ukraine. And so - to guarantee the cessation of fighting and terror by Russian invaders against Ukrainians. This will restore the force of international law and the UN Charter. Purely from a human point of view, millions of our people live in Russian territories occupied by Russia. They are waiting for release.
And while they are waiting, millions of people are forced to experience fear and repression by the Russians. Another formula point is justice. This is what the dignity of every person who died under the rubble of his own home. This is what children and adults who have lost their limbs through Russian blows are required. Each of those who survived in the basements of Mariupol while the city was erased from the face of the land Russian shells and bombs.
Each of those who dreamed of salvation in Bucha, hiding from Russian executioners. Justice is needed that no one else in the world has come to anyone that war crimes and genocidal policies may remain not punished. This is not only the living and dead Ukrainians. It is necessary for the whole house, because no one should think that such violence can be repeated again. The formula of peace does not return safety exclusively to people.
Everyone who has seen a mutilated and burned Ukrainian land from Russian blows, burned forests, closed territories through thousands of mines, understands how much the injured nature will remain to the next generation. Now there are absolutely safe places and weekends in Ukraine. Everyone who is now in Ukraine is at risk of their lives. There is no taboo for Russia.
Right now, in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro continues to disassemble the blockages of a multi -storey building, which was destroyed by a Russian anti -ship rocket.
