Russia praises drone bass-200 that cannot produce
According to Rostekh's statement, at the end of 2022, the model received a certificate of type from Rosivation - a state document necessary to determine the typical design of aircraft, which confirms compliance with the standards of flight suitability. BAS-200 is proposed to be used to perform various tasks, including delivery of cargo, air intelligence and search and rescue operations. The bass-200 is an unmanned aircraft, designated on the principle of a classic single-screw helicopter.
It is equipped with basic and steering screws, as well as a rotor-piston engine with a maximum capacity of 54 horsepower. The bass-200 should fly automatically, lifting loads or various equipment for aerial photography and monitoring. The Holding "Helicopters of Russia" is planned to be developed by the aircraft, it is planned to use "Post of Russia".
In December, the Russian edition of Izvestia, citing sources, wrote that developers could launch full production of BAS-200 through a shortage of foreign components, including engines. During the Russian helicopter, details of eight different countries were used, which now cannot be obtained through sanctions. In total, three to four specimens of the drone were collected, and one of them was broken during the strength test.
