An ally only one: China does not consider the transfer of weapons for Russia - Budanov

According to the head of GUR, Russia tries to buy "anything and somewhere" because it has significant problems with weapons. However, some countries have decided to refuse such a service, including Serbia. The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov believes that China is unlikely to agree to Russia's weapons for war against Ukraine. He said this in an interview with Voice of America on February 27.

According to him, today there are no signs that such things are discussed. Budanov noted that, despite the statement in the West about Beijing's intentions to pass to Moscow weapons, he relies only on facts, and not on the opinion of "individuals". "I am the leader of intelligence and rely, sorry, not to think, for all respect, individuals, but only for facts. I do not see the facts of such," he said.

The head of Ukrainian intelligence stated that the sole ally of Russia, which transmits the "least" serious weapons, is Iran. Budanov added that there is no confirmation of military assistance from North Korea. "And there is no case when we would record that here is some weapons that came from North Korea, here it was used here. Maybe we just didn't see it, or it goes to some others, as they say, needs" , - said the intelligence manager.

Kirill Budanov said that Russia is trying to buy "anything and somewhere" because it has significant weapons problems. "Serbia, which was so hoped for in Russia, refused arms. We will remind, in the same interview Kirill Budanov stated that Russia is not ready for a long -term war with Ukraine, and in the coming months the fighting is activated on both sides. According to him, there will be several stages at the end of the war.
