"Inadequate behavior": Zelensky criticized Hungary's policy for friendship with the Russian Federation

According to the Head of State, being a full member of NATO - the main enemy of the Kremlin - it is impossible to talk about alliance with Moscow. This is confusion. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about Hungary's policy while a full -scale war continues near their border. The head of state considers the actions of their power not entirely clear. He stated this when communicating with representatives of Finnish, Swedish, Danish and Norwegian media on April 29.

According to him, Budapest today has some confusion among representatives of the political elite, because it is not quite correct that the NATO country continues to call the Russian Federation its friend when the Alliance is the main enemy of the Kremlin. "How to resolve a dispute (about national minorities - ed. ) With Budapest? For example, the country of NATO for Russia and against NATO? It seems to me that it is a confusion, " - said Vladimir Zelensky.

Such a policy of Budapest, according to the Head of State, can be an independent choice of Hungary. In addition, there should be some legal and gentleman's respect, otherwise "it is inadequate behavior. " At the same time, the President of Ukraine noted that this is only his subjective opinion. "Allies are an alliance of states with the same vision of safety, on values.

There are different moments differently, there are exceptions, but there are a contract of allies that protect each other and values. If everyone says that Russia calls us an enemy put it in place, it cannot capture territory. One state cannot say, "no, Russia is our ally. It should advise Ukraine to go to NATO, or not go, " - continued Vladimir Zelensky.
