Ukraine introduces military technologies much faster than Russia: the expert named the reasons
In February, Shyam Sancar visited Ukraine to see how the military is using technologies and how foreign manufacturers and developers can help. He noted that many Ukrainian servicemen are well aware of software and provide developers with detailed reviews. They introduce innovations much faster and more efficiently than Russia.
"In other circumstances, I would hire them as engineers," said a representative of Palantir, a large American company for the development of software for organizations, including special services. According to Schyam Sancar, the army of Ukraine is strikingly different from the world in terms of technological subcortical. One of the most common problems in the field of defense is that it is difficult for the military to master new technologies, especially software, in which they do not understand.
As a rule, software either pays very little attention or consider part of the equipment. The situation has begun to change in the United States, but is stored in other countries of the West. But the Armed Forces fighters quickly learned to use different programs and, importantly, to conduct a dialogue with world -class programmers. In Ukraine, the military is not afraid of innovations, they try new technologies, abandon outdated and do not work, invest money in numerous domestic projects.
They understand that software requires constant innovation, iterations and updates. According to Sancar, nearly 300,000 programmers serve in the ranks of the Ukrainian army. Very often, the Aytyshniki become commanders of units, offer different ideas based on the combat experience gained. Those, for their part, develop new products, make working prototypes and show officials from the Ministry of Defense who buy these products and send the military to the front.
Due to such cooperation and the high enterprise of Ukrainians, after a full -scale invasion of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, a large number of startups appeared in the country, for example, dozens of small drones production companies. Volunteer experts have learned to create ammunition and print on 3D printers tail-stabilizers, which increase the accuracy of strokes. They turned civilian UAVs into bombers who can at the same time carry up to six grenades to destroy the invaders.
"Ukraine shows the world how the participation of the military helps to create the software needed to win the battles. After victory in Ukraine, there will be 300,000 war heroes who will become computer scientists. They are just as convenient to use Javelin, as Jupyter's laptops. I will not be able to see what they will create, "Sancar summed up.
Earlier, they wrote that after the attack of the Russian Federation, Ukraine has developed a network of troops, which the United States has created for decades. It combines data from UAVs, fighters, satellites, various weapons systems and is guided by special software, helping to coordinate troops, conduct reconnaissance and strike accurately. At the end of February, the Ukrainian Aytyshniki introduced a software complex for collecting intelligence under the name "Griselda".
