"We move correctly": sociologists have studied the attitude of the Russians to the war in Ukraine (infographics)

According to the Russian Field research group, more than a third of the Russians surveyed believe that the war did not affect their lives. 64% of respondents would also not cancel the invasion of Ukraine in the past. 80% of Russians support the current policy of their country, including Ukraine. This is evidenced by the data of the socialization of the band Russian Field, published on March 15.

Researchers have found that most Russians believe that the military aggression of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Ukraine did not affect their lives (37%). Men (40%) and citizens aged 60 years (44%) are so considered. Some of the respondents stated that the war affected their material well -being (22%). The same number of people in Russia noted the influence of war on the mental state.

Among those who believe that the Russian-Ukrainian war did not affect their lives, 80% support the current policy of their country, and 64% would not abolish the full-scale invasion of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation into Ukraine. Of those Russians who felt the material consequences of the war in Ukraine, 56% support the beginning of peace talks, and 52% would not mind cancellation of events on February 24 last year.

Among those who felt the impact of war on their mental health, 72% of women and 37% of the elderly. 44% of Russians in this category would like to abolish the beginning of the war in Ukraine, 41% are in opposite views, and 50% want to go to diplomacy. The organization's website states that the information was collected using a telephone survey from January 31 to February 6, 2023. The sample size is 2000 respondents.
