The victims were allegedly avoided because people were in a local cemetery at the time of arrival. Governor of Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly fired at the village of Teresivka of the Shebekinsky district. The Russian official wrote about it in his Telegram channel on Sunday, April 16.

"There is a destruction: a projectile punched the roof of an apartment building and damaged walls and furniture in two rooms. People inside, thanks to a happy case, were not: on a big holiday they were at the cemetery. It is said in the message Gladkov. According to Focus, later the local Telegram channels of Belgorod reported a series of explosions and air defense in the region.
