Data after February 24. Which punishment provided in Ukraine for leaving the place of service during the war

For unauthorized abandonment of military personnel or place of service in Ukraine, a punishment is provided. It is regulated by Art. 407 of the Criminal Code. By law, unauthorized abandonment of a military unit or place of service, as well as non -appearance on time for service without good reason a serviceman committed in a martial law or in a combat situation, are punishable by imprisonment for a term of five to ten years.

Video day after February 24, 2022, 85 sentences were issued in Ukraine under part 5 of Article 407 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
