The publication writes that the hostility on the Korean Peninsula has intensified in recent months, when North Korea has tested a number of missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads, and adopted a law that allows to ahead of the use of its nuclear weapons in a wide range of situations. Some experts still doubt that North Korea will be the first to use nuclear weapons to the stronger forces of the US and South Korea.
According to journalists, Pyongyan claims that his recent weapons tests had to warn Washington and Seoul, that the DPRK considers joint military exercises of these two countries as a rehearsal of the invasion. Pak also accused the Pentagon of formulating the collapse of the North Korean regime as the main political goal. He attacked a sharp criticism on the South Korean military because they threatened to destroy North Korea if she applies nuclear weapons. "If the US and South Korea try to use the Armed Forces against (North Korea), then without any fear, special means of the Armed Forces (north) will fulfill their strategic mission," Pak said.
The officials of the US and South Korea firmly state that their teachings are defensive and that they do not intend to attack North Korea. Earlier, Focus wrote that the US Air Force and South Korea had worked out the dumping of managed bombs at the DPRK. American and South Korean planes conducted joint training on bombardment of "sources of provocation" in the sea after North Korea launched its most powerful ballistic missile over Japan.
