The press service of Ukrainian intelligence said that Cyril Budanov heard the reports of the commanders of the GUR units, identified tasks and awarded the military, who were especially distinguished during the destruction of Russian troops. The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov visited one of the hottest points on the front line - the city of Bakhmut of Donetsk region. This was reported in the GUR press service.

The department said that on December 27-28, Budanov was in the leading positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in Bakhmut, where reconnaissance-specialties work. Major General heard the reports of the GUR units, identified tasks and awarded the military who were especially distinguished during the destruction of Russian troops. On December 26, the speaker of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces said that in Bakhmut's battles, an operational pause is possible because Russian troops suffer great losses, and the defense of the Ukrainian troops is exhausted.
