People's Artist of Russia Alexander Filippenko starred in almost one hundred films and series. Throughout his career, he was actively involved in theatrical productions, playing both the main and minor roles in such authoritative Russian theaters as "Contemporary", "Satiricon", the Theater named after Taganka and others. Filippenko twice starred in the adaptations of the novel "Master and Margarita". In 1994, he played the role of Koroviev-Fagota in the film by director Yuri Kari.
