Caesar's analogue: The Russian Federation has been completed

The Russian self -propelled installation is able to shoot up to 24. 5 km with 7 shots per minute. The first public demonstration of "Malva" took place in 2020. In Russia, an analogue of the French SAU "Caesar" called 2C43 "Malva" was created. About it reports the Polish edition of Defense 24. The defense concern "Uralvagonzavod" reported the completion of state testing of the Malva SAU 152 mm caliber. The Russian army has many different systems in its arsenal, but almost all of them are tracked.

This is with bad roads in the Russian Federation and the need to overcome the intersected territory. The Malva SAU can be a successful attempt to create a wheel article. It was first publicly shown in 2020. 2C43 "Malva" is a Russian 152mm SAU, developed by the storm "Petrel". The machine is built on the basis of the truck-6010-027 by wheel formula 8x8. The weapon at the SAU is the same as in MSTA-S-2A64 with a 30 shot. The crew is in the armored cabin in the front, and the tool is installed behind.

Shooting range is about 24. 5 km. The whole design is simplified and lightweight. The installation weight is 32 tons, which is 10 tons less than the same MSTA. The tools are likely to have a semi -automatic or automatic charging system. It is declared that its frequency is 7 shots per minute. We will remind, in early August the first Zuzana 2 from Slovakia arrived in Ukraine. Weapons are already used on the front. Earlier, France announced the transfer of VAB VAB to Ukraine and another Caesar CAU.
