How much do ministers and mayors pay in Ukraine during the war
According to the focus, the reward of some officials in Ukraine has an inadequate high appearance, while ordinary civil servants receive critically low salaries. "It is forced to admit that the system of remuneration for the civil service is truly incomprehensible and unfair. This is especially noticeable at the level of areas where salaries are often less than the minimum wage," Natalia Alyushina, Head of the National Agency for Civil Service, said in a comment on focus NADS).
However, at the local level there are examples and decent salaries at the civil service. With reference to regional editions, Focus reports on the salaries of Kremenchuk officials for June: the media reported that the head of the Radivilov city territorial community Mykola Karapetyan has earned 426 714 UAH for the first half of 2022. The salary of the official in February amounted to more than 120 thousand UAH.
For comparison, the salary of President Vladimir Zelensky in 2022 is 28 thousand UAH per month. As focus wrote earlier, Ukrainian officials receive inadequate high rewards at the expense of bonuses and allowances "for labor intensity". In this case, the bonus for the salary of the official can be at least 1000% of the salary.
"The country needs a clear remuneration system for efficient work, and the current situation confirms the need for reform of the remuneration system, - comments Natalia Alyushin. - After all, a variant part that exceeds a permanent share, offsets the role deprives of motivation.
" However, the salary of the Prime Minister and the salary of the Cabinet members, which publishes the information of the Cabinet of Ministers, was paid in June 2022 without allowances for intensity and bonuses within the salary. Salaries in the Cabinet of Ministers: Earlier, focus wrote that the salaries of citizens in Ukraine have decreased by 30-40%, and probably not yet the limit of fall.
