Allies of Ukraine approached the problem of supplying ammunition for the Armed Forces - Reuters

One part of the EU plan is to provide European military companies with the right funding, journalists report. The European Union approached the scheme of joint purchasing of ammunition for Ukraine. The EU is getting closer to the implementation of the joint purchasing plan of ammunition every day, which will greatly help the Armed Forces and help to replenish its own reserves.

At the same time, the main issues of financing and scale of procurement have not yet been resolved. In the new week, the EU Defense Ministers will meet in order to discuss a plan for accelerating the supply of 155mm ammunition to Ukraine. Every day, Russia with Ukraine produces at least a thousand artillery shells, but in Moscow they are much more in stock. The Allies of Ukraine are still not able to produce shells, and the reserves of the Allies are depleted, although the figures are kept secret.

Joint procurement is one of the parts of the three -component EU institutions, which are discussed by ministers from different countries. The first step should encourage allies of Ukraine in the short term to sacrifice Kiev as many ammunition as possible, and the rest involves the use of EU funds in order to assist European military companies. EU officials hope that the plan will be finally approved at a meeting of foreign ministers and defense on March 20.

We will remind, on March 6, the FT portal wrote that in the Russian Federation changed their mind to buy Iranian missiles because of the fear that Ukraine will receive ATACMS. According to the newspaper, toplines in the West acknowledge that the Kremlin can change its decision due to a sharp lack of ammunition. On March 3, this portal reported that Ukraine will receive scarce ammunition in March.
