According to the department, the level of loss of personnel of Russian troops has increased significantly from the moment when in Russia a presidential decree declared partial mobilization. Since the beginning of a full -scale invasion of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and private military companies have lost from 175 to 200 thousand people. The losses killed, as stated in the intelligence report, are estimated at least 40-60 thousand people.
"According to modern standards, these figures are high ratio of killed and wounded. Almost certainly high levels of loss are associated with extremely unsatisfactory medical care of most personnel. The strikes of artillery have probably led to most Russian losses," the scouts said in their daily report. Separately, the department comments on the loss of personnel of the Wagner PEC, whose detachments are involved in assault operations.
Scouts note that the company used a large number of recruited zets to participate in the fighting. The losses among the mercenaries of Wagner PEC account for up to 50% of personnel. On the day earlier, February 16, the British edition of The Times released material dedicated to the exacerbation of the situation in the Donbass. Journalists, referring to NATO grades, reported that Russia is losing 2000 people while advanceing for every 91 meters.
