Payment of communal

In just a month, utilities debt increased by UAH 2. 2 billion. Most Ukrainians do not pay for heating and hot water during the war. Ukrainians, against the background of the war, continue to accumulate huge debts for utilities. As of December 1, 2022, the debt amounted to UAH 35. 35 billion, said MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak. According to the deputy, in a month the debt increased by UAH 2. 2 billion.

The volume of debts for the communal utility was distributed as follows: it should be noted that Yaroslav Zheleznyak published data without taking into account the Ukrainian regions temporarily occupied by Russia. The deputy also does not have data on the debt of Ukrainians for electricity. According to the latest information dated December 31, 2021, the debt for the supply and distribution of electricity was UAH 7. 7 billion. Some utilities can rise in price.

As explained in early February 2023, the chairman of the Board of the Union of Consumers of Utilities Oleg Popenko, it is about tariffs for water and electricity. He noted that the rise in price would be due to the revision of the price-keps (marginal prices). Electricity price cape, for example, is set by April 1, so in the spring the cost may change.

"Given that there was a statement of the NERCE Chairman, and they have a direct impact on electricity tariffs, that is, they can make a decision to increase tariffs for electricity and water. Here you can expected, as an option, - raising tariffs for water supply, sewage and electricity , both for business and for the consumer, ”said Sergey Popenko. Earlier, Focus told why it is very important to pay for receipts for consumed electricity in a timely widows of dead servicemen.
