During his working trip to Kharkiv region, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in the ceremony of raising the National Flag of Ukraine in Izium, which the Ukrainian military was liberated from the Russian invaders. The ceremony took place in the central square of the city in the presence of defenders of Ukraine. During the raising of the flag, the National Anthem of Ukraine was heard. The President thanked the servicemen who liberate Ukrainian lands from the enemy.

The head of state noted that today, when defenders release Ukrainian lands from the invaders, the flag of Ukraine is of particular importance. “Earlier, when we looked up, we always searched the blue sky, the sun. And today we, and especially people in the temporarily occupied territories, looking up, we are looking for only one thing - the flag of our country.
