The UAV Twin-Tailed Scorpion has already been noticed near Taiwan and Japan, but only alone. According to experts, the ability to act "flocks" will significantly increase military power. The Chinese army for the first time showed how three Twin-Tailed Scorpion battle battles are flying in close line. Three Twin-Tailed Scorpion drones, armed with various ammunition, including high-precision bombs, rockets and smaller drone, participated in the trials. They took turns flying from the airfield, then lined up in several formations, including a line and a triangle. As noted on central television, operators managed the UAVs using a ground station, so it was very difficult to synchronize the speed, direction and height of all three devices.

TB-001 Twin-Tailed Scorpion is a Chinese shock-scoop, 10 m long and with a wing of 20 m, equipped with two engines and generators. The model has a maximum run mass of 2800 kg and a flight range up to 6000 km, accelerates up to 300 km/h, rises to a height of 8 km and can be carried out in the air up to 35 hours. "Scorpions" are equipped with high -precision ammunition, including thermobaric bombs, armor -piercing bombs, delayed bombs.

There is also a TB-A modification with three engines and generators that is much larger in size. Its run mass reaches 3250 kg, flight range - 8000 km, margin - 40 hours, maximum speed - 380 km/h, ceiling height - 10 km. According to the statements of the Defense Department of Taiwan and the Ministry of Defense of Japan, in recent years Twin-Tailed Scorpion has been flying several times near Taiwan and above the Miyako Strait in the Pacific, but every time-separately.

According to experts, the ability of such large drones to fly with a line will significantly increase China's combat capabilities. The editor-in-chief of the Beijing magazine Aerospace Knowledge Van Janan on June 27, in a comment to Global Times, expressed the belief that the demonstration showed outstanding Twin-Tailed Scorpion handling, since the transportation of heavy cargoes usually makes the aircraft less shred.

He added that the pilots usually manually control the drones from the ground, but China is already working on software to make this process autonomous and form a one team.
