There were problems with SIM cards, so operators decided to adjust work through ESIM. Several Russian media recently reported that the smartphones of the iPhone 14, which came out in September 2022, did not work in Russia. However, soon mobile operators of the aggressor country denied this information, writes RBC. ru. Referring to an anonymous source, the RBC reported that Russian operators quickly corrected the work of the E-SIM networks, making changes to the software.

Recall that ESIM is a default SIM card with the possibility of its programming. Earlier, the SIM cards are inactive, wrote the Durov code. After that, the RBC sent requests to MTS companies, Beeline, Megaphone. The last two replied that in their networks, the owners of all apparatus of the iPhone 14 can use services: make calls, send SMS, connect to mobile Internet, roaming and more. The exception was the Tele2 operator, founded by the Swedish corporation Tele2 AB and redeemed with a "rustlecom".

RBC writes that the problem could be that smartphones created for the North American market are not equipped with standard "seven", but only have ESIM technology.
