Silver ball against the Russian Federation and Crimea. That awaits Ukraine in the coming months

Alexey Melnyk CO -Director of Foreign Policy and International Security Center Razumkov Alexey Melnyk: Putin will try to impose agreements on ceasefire (photo: Reuters), even though Our international support is not only a collective event, not only the United States, NATO countries, the European Union. Going out how many countries have joined the Crimean Platform for the Forum a week ago, it is more than 60 countries. That is, almost a third of the UN members.

Since the number of countries that support us is constantly growing (if you look at the example of Ramstin), we can say that this camp has such a consensus: Ukraine has no defeat in this war. Video of the day within this support camp of Ukraine is still practical discussions on counteracting Russia's aggression. If you simplify (because there are many nuances), for one camp, the meaning of Ukraine's support is that it will cause a convincing defeat of Russia in its territory.

Others still take a cautious position, they say, it is impossible to humiliate Russia, because its defeat is threatened with serious consequences. And "not losing" Ukraine they see heavy compromises for it, first of all, territorial, so that Ukraine seems to be left, and give Putin's chance to keep his face personally at the expense of re -captured territories.

What unites these two camps? Both want to avoid the expansion of the geography of this conflict, nuclear catastrophe, the Third World War. I saw a number of posts of famous authors that on September 8, a decisive meeting of Ramstin will take place. In my opinion, this is a very important gathering. Important decisions may be made there, but it is not necessary to hope that any one event or decision will be able to completely break the course of the war.

These authors believe that the ATACMS long -range missiles will be a silver ball that will allow Ukrainians to immediately change the course of war. I repeat that it is exaggerated expectation. But, returning to what decisions can be made, of course, each of these decisions, which expands the spectrum and increases the number of offensive weapons brings the finals desired for us and for the civilized world. There is no synchronization of sanctions against Russia and supplying weapons.
