"Every third drone does not come": The military explained the lack of drones in the Armed Forces (video)

Learns destroy not only opponents but also the actions of inexperienced Ukrainian operators, says Sergei Krivonis. About a third of the drones supplied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not even carry out one combat mission. Former Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Major General Sergey Krivonis explained the reasons in Podcast on the Ukrainian Media Network YouTube channel. According to him, the problem of UAV loss is insufficiently qualified personnel.

In many cases, the military lose their equipment due to inexperience. "Every third drone, which is purchased for the Armed Forces of Ukraine by various organizations, both volunteer and state, it still does not come to the fulfillment of its first task, because quality and quantitative training of operators also needs improvement," - said Sergei Krivonis. He added that the military is critically lacking in UAVs, especially those who are fighting in the Bakhmut direction.

The Armed Forces Command provides approximately 10% -15% of the army's needs in unmanned vehicles, another 30-40% transmit volunteers. There are another 50% of the shortage that no one is able to close yet. In November, the commander of the company of unmanned aviation complexes from the Azov Regiment told why the military was losing so many drones. In his opinion, the reason is the poor preparation of operators and the desire of each soldier to install a drone on the front line.
