Despite the protests: Putin arrived in Yerevan at the City City Meeting (Video)

Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in the capital of Armenia Yerevan on Wednesday, November 23 to participate in the meeting of the collective security council of the Collective Security Agreement (ODCB). The Kremlin press service reported. The head of the Russian state at the Yerevan Airport "Warnots" was met by Prime Minister of Armenia Nicol Pashinyan.

Viceremier Mager Grigoryan greeted the presidents of other Member States of the CCU. The CCI meeting will take place today, November 23. The summit will also be attended by President of Belarus Oleksandr Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Kasim-Zhomart Tokaev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sdir Zhaparov and the chairman of Tajikistan Emomala Rahmon. Within the meeting of the Head of Member States of the CCU, issues of international and regional security will discuss.

It is also planned to touch on the topics of assistance to Armenia. On the eve of the CCI meeting in Armenia, there were protests against Vladimir Putin's visit to the country. The participants of the action held portraits of Putin and Lukashenko, as well as flags of Ukraine and the USA. On one of the video published, the car was probably the head of Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Lavrov shouting: "Russia, go away!".

The participants of the rally also chanted: "The enemy of Russia!", "The enemy of the City!". According to Radio Azatutyun journalists, the Armenian Opposition Party "National Democratic Pole" was one of the organizers of the protest. According to the party members, after bloody clashes at the border with Azerbaijan, in September, the CDC did not support Armenia as one of the members of the military bloc. Oppositionists generally opposed the Stoke Summit in the country.
