The Deputy Head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine Igor Zhovkva met with the delegation of the Green - European Free Alliance of the European Parliament, headed by her co -president Terry Rayntke. The delegation also included members of the German Bundestag and Parliament of Finland. The main attention was paid to the meetings by joint efforts to counteract Russian armed aggression against Ukraine.

Igor Zhovkva informed the European deputies in detail about the scale and consequences of massive shelling of the entire territory of Ukraine by Russia, which have already become tradition for the aggressor country. “This behavior of Russia is a direct justification for the need to adoption the European Parliament on the recognition of Russia by the state - sponsor of terrorism. And this decision should be made next week, ”he stressed.

The deputy head of the Presidential Office noted the efforts of the Green - European Free Alliance in guaranteeing solid support of Ukraine by the European Parliament.

Particularly noteworthy is the lobbying of a group of a number of important initiatives in the ranks of parliament and among European countries in order to carry out proper investigation of Russian military crimes committed in the territory of Ukraine, the creation of a special tribunal for bringing the leadership and citizens of Russia to justice, as well as the development of a mechanism of compensation damage caused to Ukraine as a result of a full -scale invasion.
