Russians sell used gadgets that have been abandoned in the US and Europe

Residents of the Russian Federation, who lack money for new equipment, are offered to buy scratched and beaten devices with a high discount. The CDEK international logistics operator began to supply electronics used from the US, Japan, Singapore, Germany and Finland to Russia. Representatives of the company reported this Russian information agency Tars.

CDEK launched a new service called CDEK Recommerce, which offers the Russians restored devices, from which foreign owners have refused for one reason or another, for example, because of the presence of production defects. Russians can pay for orders in rubles, including delivery, they are promised to save up to 70%, because the restored equipment quickly loses its price.

The operator assures that all the equipment undergoes sanctions restrictions on the US and the European Union, and is restored before the sale. If it turns out that the product violates the sanctions, then the buyer will simply return the money. In a comment by CNEWS, CDEK representatives added that they would not eliminate defects themselves, but will only buy restored gadgets from foreign companies that specialize in repair.

The operator mostly cooperates with American platforms such as Amazon, Blackmarket and Ebay. The Russians will be offered goods in three states: "good", "excellent", "as new". The latter refers to devices that foreigners returned to the stores shortly after purchase. Even in this case, there may be small scratches on the housing, although the screen should be in perfect condition.

"Excellent" quality allows for scratches, which are visible from a distance of 50 cm, and "good" - dents or scratches even on the display, if they are not visible when the backlight is switched on. Cdek Recommerce is currently selling monoblocks, laptops, smartphones, tablets, smart hosts, headphones, Apple, Samsung, Playstation, Xbox. In the future, the company plans to add Huawei and Xiaomi equipment to the range, as well as premium clothing, shoes, accessories - also restored.

Cnews notes that on November 21, CDEK Recommerce sold exclusively products manufactured by Apple. The company failed to name the time when they began to sell the equipment of other brands. As for clothing and accessories, CDEK looks at Chanel, Balenciaga, Gucci and Louis Vuitton. Earlier, they wrote that because of sanctions to Russia, they began to illegally bring counterfeit electronics under the guise of a real one.
