Help during the War: Which of the Ukrainians can get 16 thousand hryvnias

Ukrainians will be paid financial assistance in the amount of 4 thousand UAH. within four months. That is, the total payment will be 16 thousand UAH. From February 16, 2023, veterans with disabilities of Group I-II disabilities can apply for payment of financial assistance from the Minister of Veterans and the Red Cross. This was reported on the website of the Government Portal. It is noted that Ukrainians will be paid financial assistance in the amount of 4 thousand UAH for four months.

Thus, the total payment will be 16 thousand UAH. Financial assistance is assigned to veterans who received disability as a result of the war, have the status of the first group of disability groups, and information about it is entered in the Unified State Register of War Veterans.

"If a citizen meets the criteria, then the applicant's data in automatic mode is transferred to the Red Cross of Ukraine for further payment of cash assistance to the bank account specified in the application," the statement reads.

We will remind, on January 12, 2023 the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law that grants the status of a participant of hostilities to civilians who, since the beginning of the intensive phase of war in Ukraine, defended the country as volunteers and did not belong to official military formations or departments.
