At the same time, the official statement of the City Hall indicates a change in the approach of Russian officials, which previously denied involvement in the mailing of letters.
"Open recognition of Vladivostok indicates that the Russian municipal power can be under pressure from the federal power to create a certain number of volunteer battalions," the report is envisaged. Other regions also confirmed "Self -mobilization". For example, the governor of Kirov region Alexander Sokolov announced the creation of a second volunteer battalion in Kirov called "Shironin", and added that the Vyat Regional Volunteer Battalion had already been sent to Ukraine.
The governor of the Magadan region, Sergei Nosov, declared financial support for "Self -mobilization" and urged to recruit people even in small regions. The heads of Voronezh, Chuvash and Bashkir regions also reported on voluntary mobilization and stated that about 1000 volunteers from each of their regions had already joined the army.
The message appeared in response to the call of the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov to start "self -mobilization" in the regions of the Russian Federation, without waiting for the announcement of martial law. According to him, every governor can prepare at least a thousand "volunteers" to increase the number of troops to continue the fighting in Ukraine.
