The court in the Russian Federation condemned the "Permian shooter" Bekmansurov to life for murder

The court found Timur Bekmansurov guilty of the death of six people. In his last word, the shooter stated that he was repentant and asked not to appoint him a higher measure of restraint. The Permian Regional Court of the Russian Federation sentenced Timur Bekmansurov to the lifelong term of the prison for the mass murder, which he committed on September 20, 2021. On Wednesday, December 28, reports the Russian Agency "Ria News".

According to journalists, the court found Bekmansurov guilty of killing six people, attempts on murder, encroachment on the life of a police officer and three cases of property damage. The consideration lasted for four months - to condemn Bekmansurov to lifelong asked for a prosecutor, as well as relatives of the dead and victims.

The defendant fully pleaded guilty, but requested not to impose the maximum punishment, referring to disability (third group), positive characteristics from the place of residence and study, as well as active cooperation with the investigation. In addition, Bekmansurov stated that he was repentant and promised to compensate the victims of more than 18 million rubles (about 9 million UAH) from his disability pension.
