The adviser to the President of Poland on security, Jacek Sever mentioned the idea of ​​"nuclear exchange". First of all, Poland participated only in consultations on nuclear restraint. Poland's authorities suggest that NATO's involvement in nuclear restraint can be expanded even without the placement of nuclear weapons in its territory. About it reports DW.

"Potentially Poland would be ready to expand its involvement and cooperation in the NATO nuclear restraint strategy <…> but nuclear weapons deployment is something else," said Jacek President Jacek North. He did not mention how Poland's participation in this program would be expanded, but noted that the idea of ​​"nuclear exchange" involves the emergence of aircraft that can carry "special weapons". Poland participated only in nuclear restraint consultations.

In October last year, the President of the country Andrzej Duda already spoke of "fundamental interest" in the more active participation of Poland in the nuclear restraint. Recall that in Belarus promised to place nuclear weapons of the Russian Federation closer to the border with Poland. The Russian representative in Belarus Boris Grizlov said that the appearance of such installations on the border of Poland and Belarus would allow to reach "parity" from the United States.
