Patrol police also reminded punishment for drunk driving. The penalty for driving in a state of alcohol or drug intoxication or under the action of medicines ranges from UAH 17,000 to 51,000. In addition, the driver's rights for a period of 1 to 10 years are provided.

Repeated violations may be possible for 10-15 days and even confiscation of cars. The refusal of alcohol test is also punishable by a fine of UAH 17,000 and deprivation of rights a year. And for the use of alcohol, drugs or medicines at the site of an accident before the examination is threatened with a fine of UAH 34,000.
