One of the suspects is the former operator of Odessa State Television, who, after a full-scale invasion, began to cooperate with the Russian TV channel Ren-TV. The investigation found that the suspect agreed to capture the roller on the mobilization in Ukraine, and for the role of "military community" for 8 thousand hryvnias hired his acquaintance. The two of them filmed a video where the "military" told how to hunt men of conscript age in Odessa to avoid mobilization.
The fake video was released on rent-TV, and more than 20 propaganda information resources were spread, including the largest federal TV channels. "The SBU initiated by the SBU of this video was confirmed by the facts of the criminal acts of the persons. The operator's involvement in the shooting of a number of custom plots on events related to the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra is also checked," the statement reads.
The persons conducted searches and removed phones and equipment for shooting, rough records, military uniforms and makeup. Both moviegoers were informed of suspicion under Part 6 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (implementation of relevant political measures and information activities in cooperation with the aggressor state occurs in the absence of signs of state betrayal). They are threatened with punishment up to twelve years' imprisonment with confiscation of property.
