Ukraine's Ukraine: Economic Growth during the War is a matter of survival
Taxes during the war as an entrepreneur, I want small taxes and cheap loans for businesses for businesses. However, in this case, the state does not receive funds for the development and support of the economy. Compromise is required. We have to have a tax strategy for 10-15 years. For example, today income tax is 18%, a year - 16%, then - 14%. During this time, more by step, more entrepreneurs will appear in the country.
The state will receive as much or more money as at the previous level of taxation. A vision is needed, which will stipulate that taxes are reducing, enterprises are getting more and the state receives more proportionally. The state was taking steps forward in 2021 by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine by the National Economic Strategy by 2030. This is a very powerful document. Unfortunately, this strategy has been implemented slowly, and now new challenges before business and country.
Therefore, not only vision, but also gradual and planned performance is critical. Ukrainians want rapid change, but it is impossible systematically. For example, to plan, build, run the plant and start earning the first profits, you need at least five to six years. It takes twice as much time for the economy of the state. It is possible to develop business now for example, last year the state has introduced incentives for industrial parks. I have an industrial park in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region.
Half a year ago, I thought that only after the war we could restore full work. However, today we have a turn of Ukrainian entrepreneurs who want to open production. Foreigners come to us, who say they are confident in the victory of Ukraine and already want to build production in the territory of this park. They rented the premises and form teams for starting work.
When they lacked experts in the team, they offered the chief engineer from the White Church (which moved to Poland since the beginning of the war). And he returned to Ukraine. This was the most impressed. The war is not over, but we already have good prospects. At present, our task is to create all the conditions for talented Ukrainians to return to Ukraine. I see in my own example: it can be done now.
How to return young people to Ukraine everyone says, "It is necessary for young people to return to the country. " If we do not create an ecosystem of opportunities where they can earn well, get first -class education and feel safe, this will not happen. Talents should be profitable to return, they themselves have to want it. Entrepreneurs can help the state return Ukrainian youth to create highly competitive jobs.
At the beginning of the month, we visited Web Summit - the largest technological conference in the world. This year, more than 70,000 people were participants, of whom nearly 3,000 Ukrainians. They are all talented guys and girls who are looking for opportunities. Now the globally trend on new technologies: blockchain, cryptocurrencies, Web 3. 0 is a trillion business. And we have to think about it, because for Ukraine it is a huge opportunity. A new world we cannot lose.
The state should provide conditions, and the business should create such an ecosystem that young people return to Ukraine with experience and develop new technologies at home. The role of the owner during the war I confess, I did not believe that a full -scale war would begin. Since the beginning of the war he was forced to cut half of the team. When my colleagues asked about the plans for the next week or month, I did not have a clear answer and advised to look for new opportunities.
Someone went abroad for security reasons and found the best work offers there, others continue to work in Ukrainian companies. Today, all UFuture holding businesses are experiencing the biggest challenges during existence, half unprofitable, some are no longer working. The war made its adjustments, but the most important lesson that I made - during the war the owner should take full responsibility, be able to quickly make effective and rational decisions.
