Exports on the castle: Ukraine has banned the removal of firewood through Russian shelling

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal is convinced that the attacks of the Russian army on the power system of Ukraine have strengthened the strategic importance of firewood. Ukraine will no longer export and sell its wood because of the threat of stopping energy infrastructure after Russia's missile strikes. The decision was stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal.

According to him, under the war, the importance of firewood has increased seriously for many Ukrainians, so the government has decided to ban exporting fuel wood. "The government has made a decision to ban fuel timber export. This will contribute to the accumulation of it in Ukraine. In many communities, especially frontier, wood is now a major resource for heating. The state of Ukraine plans to provide free firewood. The government has allocated 563 million UAH for their purchase.
