He stressed that the world "witnessed how nuclear terrorism, sponsored by a nuclear state.

"We ask that we close the sky over nuclear power plants in Ukraine, to protect the air defense systems, to prove the case that the aggressor cannot be left without any punishment only because it has nuclear weapons," the Deputy Head of the Foreign Ministry said. Energoatom's press service explained that it was a specific military regime that closes the airspace over a certain territory of the country for aircraft of a particular state or military bloc.
