According to the SBU, the FSB of the Russian Federation planned to use relatives of the Ukrainian military to aggravate the socio-political situation in the Kyiv, Poltava and Zhytomyr regions. The Security Service of Ukraine prevented the plans of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation in organizing provocations for Independence Day. Russian security forces tried to organize staging "protests" with criticism of military leadership. This was told in the SBU press service.

It is reported that the Ukrainian special service prevented the FSB of the Russian Federation to use relatives of the Ukrainian military to aggravate the socio-political situation in the Kyiv, Poltava and Zhytomyr regions before the Independence Day of Ukraine. According to their design, "protesters" had to actively criticize and condemn the Ukrainian military leadership, and the organizers shoot it in video. This is necessary to create the desired picture for propaganda.

The organizers of "Protest actions" were to be the participants of the NGO "Stremousov journalists". The leader of this NGO is the collaborator Cyril Stremousov, who is the deputy chairman of the occupying military-civilian administration in Kherson.
