The General Staff of the Armed Forces stated that the equipment in new Russian tanks did not work properly. It can not withstand moisture and rust. This was stated by a representative of the Trophy and Prospective Weapons and Military Technology Center of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Senior Lieutenant Andriy Rudyk, writes Military Media Center. "In our center, experts have long understood why the Russians have problems with communication when driving machines on the battlefield. And the problem was very simple: their equipment does not keep moisture," Rudyk said.

According to him, the equipment absorbs moisture, which leads to closing contacts, corrosion of metals.
