Negotiations with Putin and his gang of terrorists are impossible - MP Bundestag

In the German Parliament, it is believed that the end of the war can only be a military means, but for this purpose it is necessary to supply Ukraine with armored vehicles. The Chairman of the Bundestag Committee on Marie-Agnes Strak-Zimmermann is convinced that it is impossible to end the war in Ukraine by negotiation with the Kremlin, Bild reports. "This showed a deadly rocket trafficking in this gang of terrorists directly in the center of Kiev and other cities," Strak-Qimmermann said.

In her opinion, the only way is the military victory of Ukraine, which can be achieved by putting weapons and providing financial support to Kiev. The politician said the Armed Forces needed Leopard 2 tanks, but Ukrainian soldiers will be grateful and supplying Marder infantry fighting vehicles.

Strak-Zimmerman believes that the German army could send 50 such machines to Ukraine in the near future, with the calculation that during the year the Bundesver will be able to obtain new Germany defense industry. This proposal first sounded in the spring, but the German government did not approve of the BMP transfer. Marder infantry fighting vehicles were manufactured in Germany in the 1970s and 1980s.

In 1988, the program of modernization of these machines began, the purpose of which is to ensure their invulnerability to the Soviet competitor-BMP-2. The machine is able to carry a landing of seven people, its crew - three people. The BMP is equipped with a thermal imaginary sight, a 20 mm automatic gun and, depending on the modification, one or two machine guns and Milan PTRC.
