Iris-T passed the baptism: the Air Force of Ukraine was evaluated by the German PPO complex

The Ukrainian army became the world's first operator of the latest German complex. The manufacturer is already receiving a feedback on the work of SPR in real combat conditions. The German anti-aircraft missile complex Iris-T was baptized in Ukraine. This was stated by a spokesman for the Armed Forces Command Yuri Ignat. Ukraine has received and already applies the German IRIS-T SCR, which proved to be extremely positive. The complex passed the baptism and a combat capacity test.

All information, as Ignat says, will be transmitted to Germany. In the future, Ukraine is expecting new IRIS-T German SPRs. Supplies are expected in the next few months. "The complex has 8 trigger containers. Even one installation, equipped with 8 rockets is already a powerful tool that can destroy air goals: missiles and UAVs that have been flying on us lately," Ignat said. Iris-T is a state-of-the-art air defense complex that was created by the German defense industry.
