"Return to the military 30 thousand UAH": Petition to Zelensky gained the required number of votes

Electronic appeal has been needed in three days. The author hopes that by withdrawing the allowances to the people's deputies, the military will again pay former awards. An electronic petition, in which Ukrainians ask President Vladimir Zelensky to return the previously canceled cash prizes to the Ukrainian military, gained the required number of votes. At the time of publication of the news, 26 thousand 671 citizens were signed under the request for the necessary 25 thousand signatures.

The petition was published on the website of the Presidential Office of Ukraine on January 31. In it, the author of the e -appeal, Vera Rusina, indicated that he considers unfair to cancel the payment of bonuses to the military in the conditions of "new massive aggression by Russia". According to Rusina, it is possible to return the bonuses by removing the allowances to the People's Deputies.

"A petition on the President's website for raising military awards (from 100 thousand to 150 thousand, from 30 to 50 thousand) by cancellation and removal The opposite solution is to reduce the amount of the premium or to cancel it at all, " - the text reads.
