She specified that there was a "hot discussion" at the meeting, during which parliamentarians decided to prepare the relevant changes for the legislation. "Despite the fact that the resonant issue concerns the orders of the Ministry of Defense, not the law, they decided to maintain the voluntariness of women's military accounting by proposing Parliament a variant of legislative changes," she commented.

According to Bezugar, the Ministry of Defense under the protocol noted that since October 1 this year military registration for women will not be introduced, the date of implementation of the norm will be postponed. At the same time, the deputy noted that she refused to vote at the committee meeting. "The issue of gender equality is not only equal rights and opportunities, but also responsibilities. There should be no division of citizens.

We will remind, the Deputy Minister of Defense Anna Malyar posted on social networks the message that the list of specialties for women obliged from October 1 to be on military accounting should be reduced to three points. According to the representative of the Ministry of Defense, the conscripts should be doctors, cooks and radio equipment.
