Analysts have indicated that Russian supporters of the war were dissatisfied with the Kremlin because of its inability to support their statements that the Russian Federation allegedly was leading an "existential war" in Ukraine. Volodymyr Putin can use the dissatisfaction with the supporters of the war with the "Ukrainian DRG" in the Bryansk region to introduce additional security measures in the Russian Federation. According to analysts, the Russian Federation is dissatisfied with the fact that the Russian authorities cannot fully support its rhetoric on Russia's "existential war" in Ukraine. The Kremlin speaker Dmitry Peskov did not answer the question of the transition from "special operation" to the "war" due to the case in the Bryansk region. At the same time, the founder of the Wagner PEC Yevhen Prigogin indicated that the Russian Federation had already allowed a violation of its "red lines".

The head of the temporarily occupied Crimea Sergey Aksyonov and Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov called on Russian authorities to strengthen security measures. According to Kadyrov, for the punishment of the perpetrators it is permissible to attack the civilian population.
